How to visit us
We are located in a pleasant suburb, close to the centre of London with easy access by train to Charing Cross.
Rail
From London, trains to Sidcup run every half hour from Charing Cross, Waterloo and London Bridge. Journey time is around 30 minutes.
Bus
A comprehensive service exists for the local area and for central London.
Road
Exit 3 off the M25, then follow the A20 into Sidcup. From London follow signs to A20 New Cross, Lewisham and A222 Sidcup.
International
BIRD Conservatoire is within easy travelling distance for Channel ferries and tunnel, with Ebsfleet International Station being only a 25 minute drive away. Gatwick airport is just 32 miles away; trains can be taken directly from London Victoria (Gatwick Express) or London Bridge (Thameslink).
From London Victoria, take the underground to Charing Cross. From Heathrow airport Underground trains connect directly to central London. There is a regular coach service available direct from London Victoria to Sidcup and private taxis are available from both airports.
